Xiaomi’s first Redmi PC monitor only at a price of Rs 6,500 , Is it worth Noticing?


Xiaomi has launched its first monitor under its Redmi sub-brand in China and it is called Redmi Display 1A. The Redmi Display 1A comes in a 23.8-inch screen size with an IPS LCD panel at 1080p with a 16:9 aspect ratio. The monitor can output 250 nits of brightness and 1000:1 contrast ratio. This monitor also comes with 178-degree viewing angles. There’s HDMI which is nice, but the Redmi Display 1A also has VGA out. The Redmi Display 1A seems to have been focussing on customers who are at a budget but wants to have an immersive multimedia experiences. The main USP is it’s paper slim design, being just 7.3mm at its thinnest point. Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Display 1A in China at a price of CNY 599 which is roughly equivalent to Rs 6,500. The monitor will comes with a three-year warranty and can now be pre-ordered from Xiaomi’s website. Global availability and pricing are yet to be announced by the Company.

Another marketing strategy by China to attract international markets as well as people who count on cheap pricing for their parts. I’d prefer to stay away as much as possible from any Chinese product.
