After months of leaks, teases, and rumors, the OnePlus has finally revealed the OnePlus 9 series, and both devices, are amazing in every sense.
Starting with the OnePlus 9, we get a familiar design with a hole-punch camera on the front and a flat display, which offers a 120Hz refresh rate and an FHD+ 6.55-inch OLED panel. We also get the alert slider. As with the pro model, we are looking at a curved screen with a hole-punch camera on the front. This one is also a 120Hz refresh rate and a QHD+ 6.7-inch LTPO panel. Both phones are offering IP68 dust and water resistance. The base model will be metal and plastic design, whereas the pro one is going to the traditional glass and metal design. Both phones are running OxygenOS 11 based on Android 11 internationally and Both phones have Snapdragon 888. Both devices will have RAM starting from 8GB to 12GB. And for the storage, we are getting 128 and 256 options for both devices. Both phones will also ship with a 4,500 mAh battery with WarpCharge 65T charging technology.
Both the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro are equipped with Hasselblad powered cameras. The base OnePlus 9 provides a triple-camera setup on the back with a 48-megapixel main sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and a 2-megapixel sensor. The OnePlus 9 Pro provides the same camera setup with an addition of an 8-megapixel sensor. Both phones will have a 16-megapixel front camera, as well. The camera setup looks impressive, it will be interesting to see if the Hasselblad partnership was fruitful for the company or not.
